 4 September 2011 It was the final day of racing at Lake Bled today with women's single sculls wrapping up the program for this year's Rowing World Championships. The women's final in the single sculls was won by Mirka Knapkova from the Czech Republic. Finishing second was Ekaterina Karsten from Belarus, whereas Emma Twigg from New Zealand took the bronze. Zhang Xiuyun from China was fourth, Frida Svensson from Sweden ...  3 September 2011 Organizers of the Rowing World Championship at Lake Bled set new times of tomorrows races. Due to expected bad weather in the afternoon races will start 90 minutes earlier. First start of LTAMix4+ has therefore been moved from 11.03 to 9.33.

The single sculler from New Zealand was favorite for the World champion title, but he had quite a competition in the rest of the field.

But it was a race of New Zealand's Nathan Cohen and Joseph Sullivan, reigning World Champions, against the rest of the field.
