Access to Slovenia

Slovenia is situated in the heart of Europe, at the cross-roads of Europe’s fifth and eleventh corridor. Slovenia borders Italy to the west, Hungary to the east, Austria to the north and Croatia to the south. Slovenia also has its own little patch of the Adriatic coast. We like to say that Slovenia is located on the “Sunny side of the Alps”. Because of Slovenia’s geographical position, access to the World Rowing Championships will be very easy, quick and cheap. Everybody can easily reach Slovenia by air, rail or road.
