Hotel GOLF ****
The Golf Hotel is a modern hotel in the heart of Bled, Condé Nast Johansens Award winner (Best Resort Hotel 2008). The completely renovated hotel has been enhanced with a modern wellness centre and a multi-purpose conference and banqueting hall. The Park Hotel is in the centre of Bled, close to the shore of Lake Bled. The new three-star hotel is not only the first Slovenian family-friendly hotel, but also satisfies the needs of all those guests seeking high-quality affordable accommodation in Bled. Hotel guests are also entitled to free admission to the swimming pools of the Živa Wellness Centre at the neighboring Golf Hotel. The rooms and apartments are equipped with cable TV, telephone, mini bar and safe. All units are air-conditioned and most of them have balconies. All hotel rooms feature bathrooms with bathtub or shower, whereas the bathrooms of the apartments are all furnished with bathtubs. Established more than 50 years ago, the hotel is located in the heart of Bled, literally 3 min walking distance from the lake, near the sport complex. The a la carte restaurant offers some of the local specialties. The hotel also has another restaurant, an aperitif bar, Coffee bar and TV room with a big screen. Guests can relax at the wellness “Natural Spring”, which offers Turkish, Finnish or Infra saunas as well as Chinese Tui-na massage and Thai massages. Villa PLEMELJ ***
Villa Plemelj is a charismatic historic villa situated in the centre of Bled, a minute walk from the lake. In the villa there are 9 double apartment rooms, a big common kitchen, and a lounge. There is also a small conference room. A pleasant covered terrace is overlooking the spacious green back yard, and parking is possible in the fenced front yard. Most of the rooms have cable TV, while broadband wireless internet access is available everywhere.
The villa belonged to Professor Josip Plemelj, the first rector of the University of Ljubljana. Some of his belongings as well as stylish furniture are on display in a memorial room inside the villa.
