Third Day Racing Kicked-off With Adaptive Races Today 30 August 2011 Third day of racing at Lake Bled continued today with the adaptive program kicked-off the event schedule in the morning. Afterward it was time for repechage races for semifinal races. In the men's double sculls the French team won the third repechage respectfully, putting everything in place after the heat loss against local heroes Iztok Cop and Luka Spik on Sunday.
In men's quad Switzerland, Cuba, New Zealand and team USA made the semifinals, whereas the Slovenian boat was left outside, being fifth in repechage 2. Men's coxless pair saw interesting battles, four repechage races were won by the Netherlands, Greece, Germany and Hungary.
Wednesday's program will once again be full of races with even more repechages on the way from 9.30 AM on. Quarterfinals and semis A/B/C/D are to follow. |
