Men's German Eight Still Unbeaten 1 September 2011
It was another win for the German men's eight, which has been unbeaten for the last couple of years. But the guys from the „Achter“ will certainly have a lot of work in tomorrows final, since there are boats from the Netherlands, Poland, Great Britain, Canada and Australia also in the event. Single scullers had quarterfinal races, with Mahe Drysdale from Australia, Lassi Karonen from Sweden, Alan Campbell from Great Britain and Angel Fournier Rodriguez from Cuba winning their groups. Tim Maeyens from Belgium and Lukas Babac from Slovakia were left outside semis A/B. |

Fourth day racing in Bled kicked-off with repechage races on Wednesday, continued with quarterfinals and ended with semifinals A/B/C/D for most boat classes.
