Best Slovenian rower Iztok Čop will compete in Bled 8 November 2010 Third best rower in the world, Olympic and World champion Iztok Čop didn't compete in this year's Championships, but will be again competing in Bled 2011. This year he competed in Bled World Cup with his long time friend Olaf Tufte, but then decided not to go to Lake Karapiro. World Champion in double scull in 2007 was still training this year and the results are very promising. He is much aware that Championships in Bled will be very important, because of the qualifications for London Olympic games 2012, therefore he will put even more effort in this preparation period. After some more good training and conversation with coach, Cop will than decide whether he will be competing alone or will he again row with former team member Luka Špik, with whom he won World Championships title and first place in Sydney Olympic Games.
