15 May 2011 Rowing is one of the most eco sports, therefore the relationship with the environment is very tight. With the goal to inform more people about the climate change and good relationship with environment, we will plant 320 trees. Planting of the trees will fund 32 companies, who understand the importance of preserving the environment and will in its honor row on BMW eco regatta on 21 May 2011, where ... 10 May 2011 To promote World Rowing Championships Package of rowing joy travels among the Slovenian cities. Visitors can have rowing experience and win tickets for the Championships. Last week more then 200 people row on 250 m long distance in town Kranj, which is only 20 km from Bled. The youngest participant was 4 years old whereas the most experience rower was 71 years old. The fastest rower was Robi Tersak ... 4 May 2011 Rowing fans can still buy tickets for the World Rowing Championships Bled at a special price! Tickets are available from 10 EUR for a standing ticket to 20 EUR for grandstand tickets. Special packages for all four days of the finals are still available. 26 April 2011 Four weeks before the Championships Lake Bled has hosted traditional May Regatta. Iztok Čop, one of the best world rowers, has after one year break returned to the first position and win in a single scull. After few years two Olympic medalists have rowed again – Milan Janša and Jani Klemenčič, who will now train to take part in the Championships. 22 April 2011 Activities for celebration of Earth Day already started on 20 April, when we planted 5 trees from altogether 320 trees. This is part of BMW eco regatta, which will on 21 May in Bled announce World Rowing Championships.
